Terms of Service
Last updated: Oct 17, 2026
These Terms govern your use of vibegreenlight.com and the Vibe Greenlight scanning service (the “Service”). The Service is operated by David Thomas, doing business as Vibe Greenlight (“Vibe Greenlight”, “we”, “us”). By submitting a scan request or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Vibe Greenlight runs automated launch-readiness checks against a web application you submit and delivers a report by email and/or a report link. Checks may include page loading and screenshots, performance and accessibility audits, inspection of publicly served JavaScript and other assets, security header and exposed-secret checks, and, for Pro orders, signing in with test credentials you provide to check access controls.
2. Authorization to test
You may only submit applications that you own or that you are authorized, in writing by the owner, to have tested. By submitting a URL you represent and warrant that you have that authority, and you authorize us to access and test the application as described above. We may refuse any scan request, and we may stop a scan at any time, including if we believe the target is not yours, the request is abusive, or the scan could harm the target or third parties.
3. Not a penetration test or guarantee
Reports are automated checks. They are not a professional penetration test, security audit, or code review, and they do not guarantee that your application is secure, compliant, or free of defects. You remain responsible for your application and for deciding how to act on a report.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to scan applications you do not own or are not authorized to test, to harass or disrupt any operator, to evade our rate limits or abuse controls, or for any unlawful purpose. You must provide accurate contact information.
5. Payments and refunds
Paid plans are one-time charges processed by Stripe at the price shown at checkout. If we fail to deliver a report for a paid order, you are entitled to a full refund. Otherwise, no refunds are given once a report has been delivered, except where required by law. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order details.
6. Re-checks and Fix-It requests
A Launch Check includes one re-check of the same URL within 14 days of the original report. Fix-It requests are requests for a quote, not a guaranteed engagement; any paid fix work is agreed separately before it starts.
7. Your content and reports
You keep all rights in your application. We grant you the right to use your report for any purpose. We may use aggregated, de-identified scan statistics to improve the Service.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND REPORTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VIBE GREENLIGHT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
10. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Muskegon County, Michigan, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Changes apply to orders placed after the update.
